City-Wide Medical Grand Rounds 2026 Berris Lecture: Using Nationwide Registries to Conduct Pragmatic Randomized Trials with Tor Biering-Sørensen, M.D., MSc, MPH, PhD - A hybrid event

Join us for this hybrid session with Dr. Biering-Sørensen to discuss why it is important to use registries for the conduct of randomized controlled trials (RCT). The presentation will include how registries can improve the conduct of RCT’s, the types of registries that are normally used and the limitations of using registries to conduct RCT’s. For more details, check out the registration link. The Department of Medicine City-Wide Medical Grand Rounds (CWMGR) is an initiative led by Dr. Arno Kumagai, Vice-Chair, Education.
