About Dr. Goldenberg

Dr. Neil Goldenberg completed his MD/PhD training at the University of Toronto’s Institute of Medical Science, where he studied vesicle transport pathways. He went on to complete an anesthesia residency through the UofT Clinician-Scientist Program, including a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Wolfgang Kuebler at St. Michael’s Hospital focused on diseases of the lung vasculature. Following residency, he pursued fellowship training in Paediatric Anesthesia at The Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Goldenberg is currently a Staff Anesthesiologist at SickKids and a Scientist in Cell & Systems Biology, combining clinical care with research on pulmonary vascular inflammation. His laboratory studies immune dysfunction in the lung vasculature—particularly pulmonary arterial hypertension—using various techniques to inform the development of novel therapies.
