T-CAIREM-NTU Collaboration Catalyst Workshop 2026: Call for researchers and to register (Deadline: May 1)
This virtual two-hour international workshop will bring together University of Toronto faculty researchers and NTU faculty members to build new cross-institutional partnerships in the field of artificial intelligence in healthcare, including mental health, ageing, cancer detection, pathology, AI implementation, and related interdisciplinary fields.
The workshop is designed to catalyze high-impact international collaborations by:
- Connecting researchers with complementary expertise
- Creating themed breakout discussions around shared interests
- Generating new collaborative research concepts
- Supporting the development of future joint seed grant proposals
- Strengthening long-term academic ties between the University of Toronto and NTU.
In this workshop, participants will work in small thematic breakout groups to identify shared priorities and co-develop preliminary project ideas that may be advanced in a future T-CAIREM–NTU funding competition.
We welcome registrations from University of Toronto-affiliated faculty members and researchers whose work aligns with AI in healthcare, including:
- Mental health
- Ageing
- Cancer detection
- Pathology
- AI implementation
- Medical education
Researchers from complementary disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
