Abigail Cave

Abigail Cave is a third-year student at Dalhousie University, majoring in biological science and minoring in environmental science. Last year she spent two semesters studying at Arizona State University as a Killam Fellow with Fulbright Canada. There, she participated in the Embryo Project, a digital repository of articles on developmental and reproductive biology funded by the National Science Foundation. With the Embryo Project, Abigail will have three peer-reviewed articles on genetics and molecular biology.

At Dalhousie University, Abigail serves as vice president of the Golden Key International Honour Society. She is also a member of the university's competitive dance team, the Black and Gold Dance Team. In her spare time, Abigail volunteers with Let's Talk Science, where she strives to cultivate elementary students' interests in the many fields of STEM. She also volunteers with Food Allergy Canada as a mentor in a program called Allergy Pals. Allergy Pals aims to connect and educate children with severe food allergies. Abigail also enjoys the arts and is a former member of the Canadian National Dance Team.
