Your Journey to a Career in Health Science Starts Today
Take the first step towards a rewarding career in health science by applying to an undergraduate degree program.

What is an undergraduate degree?
If you have a high school diploma and you want to expand your skills, knowledge, career opportunities and earning potential, an undergraduate degree is a great investment! When you finish your undergraduate degree, you will have a HBSc and will be prepared for a variety of health science careers in the private and public sectors.
Or you can complete further education, such as a graduate degree or a medical degree. Some people work for a few years after completing their undergraduate degree and then decide to apply to graduate or medical school later. With an undergraduate degree, you have many options!
What is a graduate degree?
Graduate degrees provide advanced research training or specific clinical training and typically lead to a Master's degree (MSc., MHSc., MScOT, MSc.PT, MBMC), or a Doctoral degree (PhD). You will need to have an undergraduate degree completed before you can enrol in a graduate degree.
Graduates from these programs enjoy careers in areas like health clinics, private practice, hospitals, industry, research and universities.
What is a medical degree?
A medical degree prepares you to practice medicine as a physician and leads to an M.D. You will need to have at least three years of undergraduate course work completed before you can apply to this program.
Graduates with an M.D. typically work as medical doctors in private practices, clinics and hospitals. Some people complete both a graduate degree and a medical degree so they can engage in clinical practice and research.
