Collaborative Specialization

Temerty Faculty of Medicine departments promote intellectual breadth, multidisciplinary research and wide interaction among our students through participating in the rich array of collaborative specialization available at the University of Toronto. Collaborative specialization students complete their master’s or doctoral degree requirements, plus the requirements of the collaborative specialization, which often consist of seminar courses and a major project or thesis in the area of research. Collaborative specialization allows students the opportunity to focus on research through the sharp and intense perspective of new thinking and research.
