Graduate Representation Committee

Overview

The Graduate Representation Committee (GRC) is a group of graduate students who represent the interests of graduate students in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.

The GRC primarily focuses on student stipends and the Temerty Faculty of Medicine Harmonized Base Funding Agreement (HBFA).

Each year, we conduct the Annual Graduate Research Survey to gather data on your well-being, awareness of resources and other topics relevant to graduate students. Your responses on this survey are anonymous.

This data, combined with metrics from Statistics Canada on Toronto's cost of living, helps us advocate for:

• Increases to the Temerty HBFA (i.e., stipends)
• Greater allocation of funds to essential student resources and services (i.e., mental health services)
• Improved access, navigation and promotion of resources and services
