Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Undergraduate Student Research Awards

The Natural Sciences and Engineering and Research Council (NSERC) of Canada’s Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) provides financial support so you can engage in research work experience that aligns with your academic interests. This experience will help to position you for future graduate studies in natural sciences and engineering.

The institution allocates a limited number of awards to departments and you apply directly to the departments for these awards. We will post information for the current cycle in January or February of each year. For your reference, you can review information about last year's program.

Applications will be available in January or February 2024.
