Canada Graduate Scholarships - Master's Program (CGS M)

Value: $27,000 for up to 12 months

Application Deadline: Early December to the Research Portal

The CGS Master’s Program is intended to help develop research skills and assist in the training of highly qualified personnel by supporting students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in early graduate studies. Applicants may apply to  one granting agency each year: CIHR, NSERC or SSHRC. You can learn more about how to select the most appropriate granting agency on the Government of Canada website.

CGS M awards can only be offered to students pursuing graduate studies at eligible Canadian universities and the award must be held at the university that has made the offer. 

Students must apply online using the Research Portal and Common CV. The online application is expected to open in September and will close in early December.
