Call for Papers: University of Toronto Child Language Acquisition Workshop 2025
We are pleased to announce the 2nd University of Toronto Child Language Acquisition Workshop, to be held on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, at the U of T St. George campus. The primary objective of the workshop is to bring together child language researchers in the U of T community, from across various departments and divisions. Possible topics of presentation include but are not limited to: children’s acquisition of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, in monolingual and bi/multilingual contexts.
Our invited speaker for the workshop will be Dr. Ioana Grosu from the Language & Learning Lab at OISE.
Types of Presentations: We are inviting abstract submissions for regular conference-length talks (20 minutes+10 minutes of Q&A) and short talks (10 minutes plus a joint Q&A).
Abstracts: Abstracts should be at most 500 words, with an optional second page for figures, tables, and references, to be submitted using the following form: https://forms.office.com/r/wD3EhdQSH5
Deadline: Abstracts must be submitted by Friday, February 21st, 11:59pm EST. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by March 17th.
