Reflection
I would like to extend my warmest appreciation to the students, colleagues, and mentors who have shaped my aspirations to strive for excellence as a teacher. Having taught to large groups, such as this course, there are many students that I may never meet. Nonetheless, I hope that their learning experiences have been personal, accessible, and most of all, a human encounter. It is a wonderful surprise when prior students make an introduction many years later to share their enjoyment to have taken my course!
