Spinning Disk Confocal Optical Sectioning System

The Spinning Disk Confocal is a high speed optical sectioning system, ideal for examination of sub-cellular dynamics.  The AxioObserverZ1 inverted motorized microscope is equipped with a Yokogawa CSU-X1 SDC, with an Axiocam 506 high resolution camera and a Photometrics Evolve 512 EMCCD high sensitivity camera.  The full visible spectrum of fluorophores can be imaged, from DAPI to Cy5.  Incubation for live cell support is available, with regulated CO2, temperature and humidity.
