Workstation

The Microscopy Imaging Laboratory maintains a dedicated workstation installed with a powerful suite of image analysis capabilities. Zeiss’s Zen Blue software as well as Imaris Bitplane and Mediacybernetic’s AutoQuant deconvolution algorithms provide users with powerful tools for image management, visualization and analysis.​

As image file sizes increase so do storage requirements. The MIL hosts a 43 Tb server available for users to store acquired images on a temporary basis. Users can save images directly to the server from any of the MIL microscopes then access stored images remotely for display or download.
