GLSE Mental Health Virtual Conference

The GLSE funded “Crushing Imposter Phenomenon in Science” team is hosting “You Belong”, a student-run virtual conference, on Wednesday April 6, 2022, from 1-5PM.

We as graduate students are faced with unique challenges that can often lead to feelings of Imposter Phenomenon, a pattern in which we doubt our own skills or our belonging. Experiencing this alone can be accompanied by poor mental health and not paying attention to our own wellness. At “You Belong”, a live event via Zoom, we will explore these feelings through shared experience, build new connections, and learn strategies to care for our bodies and minds. With keynote address by Dr. Shelly Dev, a panel discussion of diverse speakers, and an interactive wellness workshop, we hope this conference will bring new attention back to our wellness and help us crush our inner-impostor. Please see below for more details.

Registration is FREE using the link below. Those who register before Wednesday March 16th will have a special wellness package delivered to them. Final registration deadline is Friday April 1st.
